I have never tuned a piano, but I understand it takes hours. Small notes plucked repeatedly, like rain on a tin roof. Some things cannot be rushed. Some things require a steady hand, a listening ear, the intimacy of familiarity.

WEEKLY CENTERING PRACTICE Center yourself through music. Listen to a song that moves you.

DAILY QUESTION Tune into yourself. How are you feeling emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically? What is weighing you down? What is giving you life?

PRAYER God of the here and now, you know my entire being. You know my feelings, my fears, and my heart. Sift through all that I am carrying today and turn my attention to the good that remains. In a world of waves, thank you for being steadfast. Amen.
