We are transitioning to a new Beacon format that will be sent weekly. There will be a lot happening in the life of the congregation in the coming months and this will be the best way to share details, stories, pictures, and a midweek check-in. My hope is that this will better equip us as a church.

Christmas at Fern Terrace

Thank you to everyone who helped provide a wonderful Christmas meal at Fern Terrace this past Saturday. We had 24 different people participate from filling gift bags to cooking the meal at 8am on a Saturday morning. It was well received and a blessing for their residents, staff, and our congregation. When it was all said and done, we assembled 130 gift bags for all of their residents to have one and served 150 meals for residents and staff (including afternoons and midnights) to have a Christmas meal. What a wonderful day of ministry!

Dear Church Family,

I wanted to share my deep gratitude at everyone’s love and support as I awaited Nicole’s arrival that has continued now that she’s safely here. I have been so overwhelmed and humbled by it. I am still relatively new to the church body, but you all have been so welcoming from the very beginning. Now I feel how much everyone shares the joy of my new little girl. Everyone’s generosity has overflowed my heart. Most of all, I am so thankful for your continued prayers.

I look forward to getting to introduce her to you all in person in a few months!
